Two providers of business information services for the plastics and chemical industries have announced their intention to merge. Phillip Townsend Associates, Inc. and Tarnell Co. (Plastics Information Network Inc.) had not yet announced a name for the new merged company, but have a joint vision to be the largest and most innovative supplier of management information on polymers and related materials. Efforts in software development will allow customers to analyze more effectively the various types of data offered by the company, from credit information to resin consumption.
